Water goddesses, mostly — the ones who take rather than give. Rán drags sailors under; the devotion in the second piece is the kind that doesn't let go either. Both are built almost entirely from undersea photography and shipwreck salvage.

Small square panels, 12 inches each. The scale is deliberate — they're meant to be read the way you'd read a page, close and alone, rather than from across a gallery.
